Sanitary Sewer Overflow Reported on December 18, 2020 at 407 Maple Street

On December 18, 2020, at 10:10 a.m. Water Pollution Control crews got a call about sewage backing into the street in the area of 407 Maple Street.  City crews following up on the call found sewage running from a private lateral sewer line. The sewage ran from the line down the street and into a City storm drain.  City crews advised the owner to repair the private problem.  Homeowner cleared the line on Saturday, December 19, 2020.  City crews have cleaned the overflow area.
