CDBG Accessibility Application for Home Owners or Renters

The City of Leavenworth Home Accessibility Program can provide up to $13,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for accessibility needs. This program receives its funding from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is subject to HUD guidelines.

The purpose of this program is to assist low and moderate income homeowners and renters, within the corporate bounds of the City of Leavenworth, to make accessibility improvements to their residences.

Qualifying for the program begins with completing the Home Accessibility Program Application and calling the Community Development Coordinator to make an appointment for submission.

Applicants must be within the HUD income limits and occupy the home they are seeking accessibility placement. Renters will be required to submit the appropriate documentation for the homeowner’s approval.
