Leavenworth Animal Control, 2019 S. Third Street (behind Price Chopper) will be open 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 21 for pet adoptions. 

Additionally, there will be a free photo opportunity with Santa or the Grinch with one donation item for shelter pets:

  • 6-foot dog leashes
  • Hard dog toys
  • Magic erasers
  • Dish soap
  • Large dog harness
  • Puppy pads
  • Pate cat food
  • Dryer sheets
  • HE laundry soap
  • Dog collars
  • Dog treats
  • Large rawhides
  • Disinfectant wipes
  • Paper towels
