The City of Leavenworth Business Symposium will be held 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday October 28 at the Riverfront Community Center, 123 S. Esplanade Street. This event is free to attend. Registration is encouraged and includes lunch.

This year's theme is "Elevate and Innovate." The City invites local businesses and entrepreneurs to get new ideas, share insights and learn about beneficial programs.
The 2024 featured speaker is Dr. Jason Bosch from the Kansas Leadership Center. Bosch brings an energetic approach to problem-solving in business and economic development based on adaptive leadership principles.
The event also features Kansas State University’s Technology Development Institute discussing the product development process and what Kansas resources support the creation of new products and technologies.
City of Leavenworth Mayor Griff Martin and City staff will be joined by local economic development organizations including the Grow Leavenworth County Development Corporation and Network Kansas to highlight local collaboration and support for new and growing businesses.
