This program ended Sept. 9, 2022.
The City of Leavenworth has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with a private company, Bird Scooters, for use of e-scooters around the community. This program is being offered at no cost to the City of Leavenworth.
The intent of this program is to offer a transportation alternative and a fun way to travel around the Leavenworth community. How do I report a problem with a scooter?
If you see a device that is damaged, parked improperly or tipped over or in the way of a street or sidewalk, please report the issue directly to the company:
- Bird Scooters website
- Email hello@bird.co.
- Contact Bird by phone at 1-866-205-2442.
- Community Mode: Community Mode is accessible by clicking the "⚠️" in the bottom left corner within the Bird mobile app. Click this button, and you’ll find three separate options: report a “Badly Parked Bird’’, “Damaged Bird”, and “Contact Bird”. This is by far the most efficient way to report the aforementioned topics to the Bird Team and you do not have to be a rider to use this feature (only have to have the app downloaded).
