Leavenworth Citywide Spring Cleanup 2024

The Leavenworth Citywide Spring Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Volunteer to pick up trash off City of Leavenworth streets Saturday, April 20. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Scout groups, church groups, civic organizations, businesses and other organizations are welcome to help pick up trash. Sign up by April 3 to receive a free t-shirt.

Join us for the kick-off event 8:30 a.m. Saturday April 20 at the Warren Educational Campus, 3501 New Lawrence Road, for a kick-off ceremony.

Other services offered Saturday, April 20 for residents include
 

Behind the Municipal Service Center, 1720 Lawrence Avenue 

• Recycling Center open, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Large item drop-off, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Furniture, metal, mattresses, appliances and other large items)
• Household Hazardous Waste, 9 a.m. to noon (paints, household cleaning items, oils, pesticides and other household items)

Brush Site, 1803 S. Second St.

• Saturday hours are 8 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. Free to City of Leavenworth residents for disposal of yard waste, branches with no roots attached and grass clippings. Proof of residency checked at the gate.

Free Paper Shredding at Citizens Federal Savings Bank

• 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Citizens FSB, 5151 S. Fourth St.
• 1 to 2 p.m. at Citizens FSB, 312 S. Fifth St.
