Leavenworth County Courthouse

Leavenworth County recently renovated its 1911-1913 Classical Revival-style Courthouse, including the addition of three interior murals painted by local artists (two of which are known nationally). One mural tells the story of "Bleeding Kansas", another, the story of Kansans' enduring struggle for freedom; and the final one pays tribute to Kansas agriculture.
