KTWU.  Leavenworth is the
only city in Kansas that is
located on two
byways: 
Frontier Military Historic
Byway & Glacial Hills
Scenic Byway.

“How About Doin’ Some TIME in Leavenworth?!”

Arrive in Leavenworth, KS. . . .
*9:30-10:30am - Guided tour of Leavenworth, the "First City of Kansas", $4.00 per person.

10:30am-Noon - Take a ride on a restored 1913 wooden carousel and tour the C.W. Parker Carousel Museum, 320 S. Esplanade, $5.00 per person with check directed to them.

Noon-1pm - Lunch with the "Harvey Girls” at the Riverfront Community Center, 123 S Esplanade, housed in the renovated 1888 Union Depot, $9-10.75 per person (tax & tip incl.) with check directed to the City of Leavenworth, Menu.

*You can be greeted harvey_girlsby a person in a convict outfit and everyone will get their picture taken behind a Leavenworth jail front and receive an “I did TIME in Leavenworth” button, $4.00 per person, OR just the button for $1.00 ea.

OPTION: You can also have the barbershop quartet, the “Possum Holler Four” (in convict outfits) sing for your group for $40.00 with check directed to them.

1:15-2:15pm - Guided tour of the Carroll Mansion, 1128 Fifth Ave, $4.00 per person with check directed to LCHS.

*2:30-4:15pm - Guided tour of Ft. Leavenworth, $4.00 per person. PICTURE ID REQUIRED.

Self-guided tour of the Frontier Army Museum at Fort Leavenworth, $4.00 per person donation accepted with the check directed to them.

Other Options:
Tour the First City Museum
, $4.00 per person, OR, Tour Black Heritage Museum, $5.00 per person, OR, Tour of the Fred Harvey House during its renovation, Donations accepted, OR, Shopping in the historic downtown area.

*You may pay for these activities with one check directed to the Leavenworth CVB.
